April 4th - Followed up some casework with residents in Halewood Village relating to a planning matter, although a member of the planning committee I am often asked to give advice on planning policy, it is then down to the applicants to decide how they wish to proceed. I have to be careful not to give any indication as to how I feel about any planning matter before it comes to the committee so it can be diffficult sometimes to help a resident in an impartial manner but it can be done so long as I am careful what I say.

Also delivered some more residents surveys today, it is important to know how local people feel about the quality of services the Council delivers.
