Ming visits Eden Project

Wednesday 25th January 2006 - I was pleased to see leadership candidate Sir Menzies Campbell setting out his environmental agenda during a visit to the Eden Project.

Ming is right to highlight environmental issues as a key concern during this leadership debate, the Lib Dems have been the leading political party out of the main three to address these concerns and it gives us a distinctive difference.

If you want to read more about what Ming had to say visit his campaign web site at http://www.campbellcampaign.org/

Comments:
Shouldn't Ming have been visiting Lib Dem Liverpool with it's appalling recycling record?

My my what a surprise a sniping comment posted by an anonymous visitor, shame you didnot have the courage of your convictons to identify yourself so at least we could enter into some serious political debate, must be a Labour party member then!!!

So, no reply then :)

Ming will be visiting Liverpool this Friday and I am sure he and the colleagues who run the City - better than their predecessors did by a long chalk many would say - will discuss this and many other pressing issues.

Yes,I'm sure the current chaos in Liverpool would be regarded as an improvement by many Lib Dems.

It's not every day the council leader is done for bringing his office and his authority into disrepute.

Tempting though it is to remove these silly anonymous rants I do not want to block free speech, just a shame you do not have the courage of your convictoins to identify yoursel!!

On that note I was pleased that our Lib Dem MP's helped to ditch some of the Government's stupid new legislation this week yet again, can you believe the arogance of Blair!!!
